Dr. Sheila Margolis has over forty years of extensive and
diverse experience in diagnosing and treating all diseases
of the eye and surrounding tissues. Dr. Margolis takes great
pride in the fact that she personally performs all patient
examinations in meticulous and detailed fashion.
Dr. Margolis takes the time necessary with each and every
patient she examines to explain in detail all examination
findings and treatment options. Her specialty is the diagnosis
and treatment of ocular disease, including cataract and glaucoma.
She has advanced training in congenital and acquired diseases of
the retina, with a subspecialty in electroretinography.
She received her medical degree from Medical College of Pennsylvania
and has been in practice for more than 40 years. Dr. Margolis is a
Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr Margolis completed
her residency at NY Polyclinic Hospital and her fellowship in Hereditary
Retinal Diseases NYU Bellevue Hospital.
