Renee Richards, M.D.,
F.A.C.S.
For many years Dr. Richards has
maintained a private practice specializing in the treatment of
strabismus and eye muscle disorders in children and adults, medically
and surgically. At the same time, she has been the Head of the
Strabismus Department as well as Surgeon Director at the Manhattan
Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital and now holds the position of Professor
of Ophthalmology at the NYU Medical School.
She is a world-renowned lecturer and
writer. She is the author of "A Text and Atlas of Strabismus
Surgery," published in 1994 and has written many book chapters
and contributed numerous articles to professional journals in her
field as well as serving on the editorial board of the Journal of
Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus.
